What forms of payment do you accept?
We are happy to accept cash, check, and credit/debit cards.
When is payment due for sessions?
Session fees are due at the time you book your appointment. We are happy to accept credit/debit payment, or paypal payments to secure your session date and time.
When is payment due for orders?
Payment is due for orders at the time they are placed. We are happy to arrange payment schedules for large orders. Payments can be made, with the remaining balance being due at the time the order is picked up/delivered.
Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes. Please email us at info@CavalliniPhotography.com for info on ordering a gift certificate.
How long will it take for my images to be published for previewing?
In order to be of better service to our clients, we are no longer doing online proofing. We are now offering a proof review in your home. This is to be able to help you determine which sizes of portraits would best suit your needs – we can use our new sizing templates in the space you plan to hang your portrait, so that you will get EXACTLY the result you are wanting – not too big, and not too small. We will normally schedule this appointment about 2 to 3 weeks after you session. After this appointment, proofs will be placed online for additional orders, or to share with you family.
How long will my images be available online?
Proofs will be published in an online gallery after the ordering event in your home. Galleries will be available online for proofing and ordering for 1 week from the date posted
How long will it take to get my order?
You should allow 4 weeks to get your order, depending on the size of your order. In some cases, it may come sooner, and in some cases, it may take longer. Again, these are guidelines…turnaround times vary. You will be notified when your order is ready.
Why do my images appear too bright/dark when I view them online?
Monitors are all calibrated differently, and therefore your monitor may display your images differently than they are in real life. You can rest assured that your images will print perfectly.
Why am I seeing blotchy areas in my images when I view them online?
This sometimes happens when posting images online. The web version of your image does not reflect the high quality image from which you will receive your prints.
Can I copy my image to use on Facebook or send to friends/family?
No. Federal Copyright Laws prohibit the unauthorized reproduction of images, in any form. Images may not be copied or duplicated in any way, shape, or form, including but not limited to, scanning, page printing, snipping, saving images to desktop, taking a picture of the image, or any other form of duplication. If you would like an image posted on Facebook or MySpace, just let me know. Please make your family members aware of this policy/federal law.
My prints are images are of my family…don’t I own the copyrights?
No. The photographer solely owns the copyrights to the images they create. You are the owner of the print/product that you purchased, not the copyright. You may not duplicate or copy the images in any way, unless given specific, written permission to do so.
Can I use my child’s portrait for a birthday announcement in the newspaper or other publication?
Yes. However, you will need to get permission from Cavallini Photography, or have Cavallini Photography submit the image of your choice to the editor.
Can I bring my own camera to a portrait session?
No. Sessions are planned by the photographer with a specific vision in mind, which is all a part of the work that goes into producing the portrait. Having a 2nd camera on the shoot is distracting for the photographer, and more importantly, the subjects. If you are interested in private instruction, contact me for further info.
What cities/counties do you serve?
I am glad to shoot on location anywhere my clients request. Mileage may apply for sessions farther than 45 miles outside of Dover/Stewart County, TN.
